We wanted a place for tea & cake on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year & were glad that this place was open. This cafe is actually part of a culinary school.
We ordered 2 sets which include main course, a drink & a cake. The drinks selection include tea, coffee or soft drinks. The cake can be selected over their counter.
Matcha Cake ($3.90 without set) – I was actually craving for matcha cake after eaten it somewhere. This is not too bad too though I still prefer the previous one that I had. The brown dots you see in the picture are chocolate crunchy balls which made the cake tasted more interesting.
Chocolate Baileys Cake ($4.50 without set) – Both of us prefered this to the matcha cake. The mousse is bitter sweet, not too rich so you won’t feel you had too much of it.
Seafood Baked Rice ($8 without set) – On the menu it was stated the most popular dish. Probably I’m not a rice person, I only managed to finish half of it. The salad was good though. The dressing is sour & is very appetizing.
Black Pepper Shrimp Pasta ($8 without set) – He ordered this. Guess this fare abit better than my baked rice.
There are quite a few customers collecting their pre-ordered cake while we were there. Guess the next time if I go back will only be for the cake.
