Pan Fried Foie Gras with Lentils ($7.90) – There’s also option for 70g at $14.90. We ordered the 35g as he does not fancy it. Given the price, it is better than expected. It kinda melts in the mouth except for some veins. The only thing will be the lentils which I personally dislike.
Angel Hair Pasta ($3.90) – Another appetiser. Savoury with something like pork puree & dried sakura prawns.
Duck Confit ($8.90) – Though the skin may not be totally crispy but the duck is very nicely done & tender. The mash potato complements this dish well.
Pork Belly with Poached Egg ($10.90) – This dish is definitely not for people who are health conscious. It’s too much fats for me & there’s lentils again.
We are impressed with the quality of food served with it’s price. Maybe we don’t know french food well but what matters is it tasted great to us. We will definitely be back again to try their other food on the menu.

Came here for a birthday celebrate. Lovely flowers for the birthday girl.
All of us ordered the 3 course executive set lunch menu priced at $36.50++.
Complimentary Focaccia Bread – Soft & fluffy served warm. They kindly replenished this for us.
Blue Swimmer Crab Congee Soup with Egg Emulsion (Starters) – We have to break the rice ball to turn the soup into congee. Interesting.
“Roast Chicken Rice” Stuffed Wings with Gino’s Chilli Sauce (Starters) – Something local presented differently.
Pomelo Salad with Tiger Prawns & Light Coconut Dressing (Starters) – Very refreshing & appetizing.
Roast Chilean Seabass with Winged Bean Fermented Shrimp Salsa (Main)
Laksa Pesto Linguine with Arabian White Prawns & Quail Egg (Main)

It’s his birthday month & he’s a card member of TCC so they mailed a birthday treat card to him. The birthday treat card entitled him to a 1 time 50% & a 1 time 30% off total bill.
Chocolate of Wealth ($8)
Minty Berry Yoghurt ($7.30)
Tako Skewer & Mentaiko Hotate ($14.90) – The tako skewer is chewy & not too tough. The mentaiko hotate tasted like scallop in baked mayonnaise which I like too.
Seafood Aglio Olio ($20.50) – The 1st time we had this, it was a little spicy but the 2nd time I ordered this, it was very spicy. I will still order this the next time for its huge, fresh & succulent prawns & scallops.
Baby Crayfish Spaghetti ($20) – We expected something more flavorful judging from the look of this dish. Not that it’s bad but just something lacking. They are definitely very generous with the baby crayfish.
For a coffee joint, the food exceeded my expectation. I enjoyed especially their appetizer. Will be back for more soon!

Came here on a weekday afternoon but it was closed. We learnt our lesson & called before dropping by on a Sunday.
This place is like a gallery displaying unique pieces of furnitures together. The chairs, sofa, tables you see & use there are for selling. Do visit their unique open air concept toilet if you ever drop by this place.
Matcha Red Bean Cake – The cream is fresh & the red bean is not too sweet, complements the green tea sponge cake very well. Yummy!
I find this place rather small & may not be suitable for big group gathering. Other than that, it’s a nice place to hang out with a few close friends.

Chef Daniel Kitchen is definitely a great find in the cold & empty Iluma. Sharing the same level as the sky garden on the 7th floor, you are able to enjoy rooftop dinning overlooking the greenery.
Their set lunch is priced at $10.50 nett daily from 12noon to 3pm, inclusive of soup & dessert of the day. There’s a list of about 10 main courses to choose from.
Cream of Carrot – Soup of the day. It’s more on the sweet side.
Focaccia Bread – Complimentary bread that comes with the soup. This bread was also served for my stew. It is soft & fragrant. I asked for extra bread & they serve it to me with no extra charge.
Beef Stew – Served with carrot, celery & potato. The beef is done just right, not too tough. The stew is flavorful & very appetizing. I requested for more bread & emptied the bowl of stew.
Grilled Sirloin Steak – Served wth red wine sauce & fries. He asked for medium well. I thought the steak will be slightly tough but not at all. It’s chewy, juicy & goes very well with the sauce.
Apricot Strawberry Cake – Dessert of the day. The top layer is apricot mousse & middle layer is strawberry mousse. The mousse is not too sweet & slightly sour. Nice combination & unique in a good way. At the side of the plate is orange syrup presented in the form of a caviar. We had fun bursting this in our mouth.
I can feel the chef putting in a lot of effort in making the dishes enticing & interesting. The lunch set is really worth the money spent. We will definitely be back again.
